A patient has osteoporosis and a previous fragility fracture. Which should be avoided?

Correct. BHIVA recommends against tenofovir disoproxil in osteoporosis, severe osteopenia, previous fragility fracture, a 10-year major osteoporotic fracture probability > 5% or hip fracture probability > 1%. Tenofovir alafenamide has less effect on bone mineral density.
